Grandmas and grandpas will love to be greeted at their front door by Christmas reindeers made from the hand and foot prints of their grandkids. All you'll need to make this wonderful present is a carpet sample, acrylic paint, and your kids hands and feet!

Materials Needed:

Carpet Sample, Acrylic Paint, and your kids Hands and Feet!

Instructions:

Mix all Acrylic paints with Fabric Extender. Fabric Extender comes in a bottle that looks just like white paint. Mix roughly equal parts paint and extender. This will make the paint hold up to water.

Reindeer Head: Use Dark Brown paint and place your child’s food in the paint and place the painted foot on the rug.

Antlers: Use Tan Paint and place your child’s hand in the paint and place the right hand for the right antler and repeat with the left hand for the left antler.

Nose: Use Red Paint and place your child’s thumb in the paint and put a nose on your reindeer.

Eyes: Use Black Paint and place your child’s finger in the paint and make eyes on your reindeer.

Don’t forget to sign and date the back of the rug.
